Modular Computing Platform

Highly modular concept for flexible configuration of various expansion modules incl. high-performance CPU and memory unit up to the width of a 19" housing. The interface modules are pre-assembled units for a fast time-to-market.

Devices for data acquisition can be connected via serial interfaces as well as via Gigabit Ethernet. Optional expansion modules are CAN, MVB (ESD+, EMD), LTE CAT-7, Wi-Fi 11ac and future options are 5G, Wi-Fi 11ax, Digital-I/O and 4-Port Ethernet switch.

The fanless and maintenance-free design offers various mounting options: DIN rail, wall-mount, 19" subrack mount.

For best connectivity data streams are transmitted via Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi or mobile radio. With four SIM sockets per 5G/LTE modem.

Various CPU options for scalable system performance with lowest heat dissipation. The Intel Apollo Lake CPU based on SMARC 2.0 standard is optimized for high data throughput and enables preprocessing and thus the reduction of data to be transferred. It's main memory also allows data to be buffered for several days.

Scalable CPU Power

SSD

SSD memory for long-term data storage of the log data without the need of any further external storage medium. The stand-alone system can also be used as a content server.

The integrated ultra-wide-range power supply is fully compliant with EN 50155, Class S2 and tolerates interruptions of up to 10 ms.

EN 50155

The Ethernet data logger is designed according to the international standard EN 50155. Components have to meet the strictest environmental requirements, e.g. an extended temperature range. In addition, they must be resilient to shocks and vibrations.
